Social Entrepreneurship     

Campbell's Coffee & Tea is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and improving community health here in Covington, Louisiana.  Our primary focus in on the development and implementation of a green business model.

 

We also give all employees paid leave to engage in volunteer efforts that promote community health.

 

We donate goods and services to a variety of local efforts, and focus our giving on non-profit agencies that have a positive impact on our community, our health, and our environment.

In our first full year of operation, Campbell's Coffee & Tea donated gift cards, gift baskets, t-shirts, and store coupons to the following agencies:

 

Business & Professional Women's Association of St. Tammany 

Covington Elementary School

Kehoe-France Northshore

Northshore Jewish Congregation

St. Paul's School Jazz Roll

St. Peter's School 

St. Scholastica Academy Spring Fling

 

 

Campbell's Coffee & Tea also participated in the following community events by providing coffee and tea drinks:

St. Peter School Fair

 

Campbell's Coffee & Tea is actively engaged in our community in creative ways.  We are currently pursuing efforts to host digital art shows of local school children's work.

 

We will offer this year three cash awards to local graduating seniors who show outstanding work in the area of environmental studies, social entrepreneurship, or green business development.  All work must be completed as part of a class project, science fair, or other sanctioned curricular event.  Submissions can be made by the student and must be accompanied by two letters of nomination by school teachers or administrators.  More information will be available soon.
