Campbell's Coffee & Tea

At Campbell's Coffee & Tea, we strive to make your experience with us fun and friendly.  We won't intimidate you with fancy names for things - our sizes are small, medium, and large.  We'll take the time to walk you through our menu and can translate coffee-shop-lingo to plain English.  Here, the focus is on a high-quality, fresh-roasted and fresh-brewed, hand-crafted drink.  We know you'll be back, so we take the time to get to know you and your taste preferences.

We invite our public to get involved in the shop, with ideas for new signage, and catchy poems to entertain our drive-thru customers.

Our Business

Campbell's Coffee is dedicated to quality.  We believe in quality of our product, quality of our employees, and quality of our community.  We engage in green business practices because we believe that improves the quality of life for our entire community.  To extend this mission beyond our shop, all of us engage in community volunteer efforts during paid leave from work.  We also intend to serve as a community leader in efforts to promote sustainable business practices and social entrepreneurship.

How we got here

Campbell's Coffee & Tea is the result of years of study, research, and longing for a consistently good (read: never bitter) cup of coffee by Campbell Morrison.  Ready to open his own shop offering in-house, small batch, fluid bed roasted coffee, Campbell stared down Hurricane Katrina and the flooding that left him homeless and New Orleans a less-than-ideal location.  Cam went North where he had family and friends, and opened Campbell's Coffee & Tea in February, 2006.  Covington responded very favorably to his never burned, never bitter, fresh-roasted coffee, and in September of that same year, Elizabeth Van Sant, also left homeless by the flooding, joined the business.  Together, they have created a sustainable business model on the shoulders of the original "fresh. simple. local" model already in place.
